Another anti-government demonstration was staged in Sanam Luang in Bangkok today, 4 November. The opposition turned out in order to reject the proposal made by the authorities to take part in parliament’s political reconciliation committee and once more called for the prime minister’s resignation.
The possibility that the rally could continue in the coming hours should not be ruled out.
Meanwhile, another anti-government rally is scheduled in the capital outside the Central Women’s Correctional Institution at 16:00 local time 5 November in demand of the release of activists.
Further demonstrations should be expected in the days to come.
Disruption and tension should not be ruled out. It is advisable to keep well away from all gatherings and mob movements.
