The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) has called for national demonstrations to be held 14 November to demand better working conditions.
Rallies are planned from 14:00 (local time) in urban centres across the country and in the capital.
In order to comply with the measures in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic, notably limiting rallies to 100 people, around 30 demonstrations are planned in Seoul, including in Yeouido Park and in the Yeongdeungpo, Mapo and Seocho areas.
Police announced that heavy traffic and potential detours are expected.
Disruptions should be anticipated.
