10 November, the authorities have decreed the reinstatement of lockdown measures at the national level from 14 to 29 November to stem the resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic. Restrictions on movement and assembly as well as increased security measures are to be anticipated.

Some businesses are also expected to close. However, we remind you that lockdown is not strictly enforced in Lebanon. Therefore, some economic activities remain possible.

The measure could also be extended beyond 29 November.

10 November, 1,552 cases of Covid-19 contamination and 17 deaths had been recorded in the country in 24 hours. A total of 95,355 cases of contamination have been recorded since the beginning of the pandemic, including 732 deaths.
