According to media sources, clashes erupted 9 November between security forces and protesters on the fringes of a demonstration to denounce insecurity in the country and to demand justice for a student killed on 1st November.
According to the same information, the police used tear gas to disperse the crowds in the Champ-de-mars park near the National Palace.
Burned barricades that caused disruptions were also erected in the streets of the capital, notably at Avenue Jean Paul 2 and in Bois Verna.
At least 2 police vehicles were burned.
A new mobilization has been announced for 18 November.
We remind you that it is advisable to keep well away from all gatherings and mob movements. Unrest is possible in the event of police intervention. Disruption should be expected.
