Commemorations should be expected 13 November on the 5th anniversary of the 2015 terrorist attacks, in which 130 people lost their lives and 350 others were injured in Paris and Saint-Denis (see our warnings).

The ceremonies, which will be limited this year because of the lockdown imposed in a bid to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, will get underway at 09:00 local time at the different locations targeted in the attacks (Stade de France in Saint-Denis, Le Carillon, Le Petit Cambodge, La Bonne Bière, Le Comptoir Voltaire and  La Belle Equipe bars and restaurants, as well as the Bataclan concert hall).

Traffic restrictions will be enforced on several roads in the 10th and 11th arrondissements in Paris from 12 to 14 November.

The symbolic anniversary comes while the terror threat level is at its highest after the country was hit by 3 attacks in one month.

Increased security should therefore be expected.
