According to local sources, 2 teachers and 1 principal of the Firm Foundation College of Bamenda have been abducted 18 November in their school by unknown gunmen.
The attackers arrived in the school at 08:00 on the same day and fired shots in the air.
The hostages were then taken to an unknown destination.
No further information has yet been given.
This new attack happens following a series of abduction of students and teachers that occurred in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon.
As a reminder, an alleged separatist attack targeted a school in Kumba (Southwest region) on 24 October. At least 7 schoolchildren were shot dead in their classroom (see our previous alerts).
Ongoing violence is to be expected.
