According to local sources, new opposition demonstrations are scheduled 13 November in Yerevan against the signing of the agreement to end hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh and to demand the resignation of prime Minister Nikol Pachinian (see our previous alerts ).
Protesters will gather from 13:00 (local time) on place de la Liberté. A large crowd is expected.
Thousands of people demonstrated 12 November in downtown Yerevan, at least 60 people, including 10 opposition leaders, were arrested by police, according to media sources.
A similar demonstration was dispersed by law enforcement near the Yerevan Opera House.
As the latter use force to disperse the protesters and regularly make arrests, it is important to stay away from all gatherings and mob movements and monitor the situation in the days to come.
